painting of WWII working woman

While living in Chicago we adopted (as grandparents) a family with 5 little girls. This one dressed up as the woman from the iconic WWII poster. I loved her costume, which inspired this painting. She has it hanging in her bedroom to remind her that she can do hard things. I think I'm on the hook to paint picture of the other girls now.

Oil on canvas, 16"x20", Nancy Lee Lewis (C) 2017.
